Plate Heat Exchangers knock down (cool) the wort being pumped between a brew kettle and fermentation tank to yeast pitching temperatures. They are typically more efficient than both immersion chillers and counter-flow designs, which reduces time and water consumption. Our commercial wort chillers use a two-stage, six-way flow process, commonly used with chilled water and glycol in temperature reduction.
