EPDM gaskets have a very good water and steam resistance, however they do not hold up well to animal fats, oil and most acids because of their polymer structure. EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) operates best in a temperate range of (-30° - 300°F). EPDM has better resistivity to general cleaning chemicals than silicone. Gaskets and Seals are non-returnable.
