DIN Welding Liner to Tri Clamp Adapter
A DIN welding liner to Tri Clamp adapters greatly simplifies the transition between the European and American standard sanitary fittings. The DIN welding liner threads conform to the European metric standard which fits the appropriately sized (and included) DIN Nuts, and the Tri Clamp is the standard US ferrule size for use with sanitary clamps.
Understanding DIN fittings
Deutsches Institut fur Normung (DIN) 11851 fittings are used extensively throughout Europe and the UK, and as such are the most common European fittings encountered in the US. A complete DIN union consists of a slotted DIN round nut, a threaded welding welding liner, a gasket and welding liner. The welding welding liner and welding liner are available in both Imperial and metric tube sizes, however the threads of the welding welding liner and round nut are always measured in metric (mm) sizes.
