Dip Tubes are utilized in pressurized vessels and tanks to allow liquids to be drawn out. The tube is positioned near the bottom the tank, when the outlet of the dip tube opens, liquid will be forced out of the tube by the internal pressure of the tank. Dip tubes offered by Glacier tanks are adapted for a standard 2 or 1.5 inch tri clamp connection. Various dip tube lengths are available which can be cut to length to meet the requirements of different depth tanks. The connector of the dip tube is a 3/8 female NPT. This configuration of a dip tube is designed to work with sanitary tank lids and vessels with a tri clamp port.
