Balthazar heavy-duty winery hoses are a corrugated hose formulated for the most abusive applications in the suction and delivery of wine, fruit juice, and soft drinks. The Balthazar heavy-duty hose has a white, smooth NBR tube to insure food quality and is odorless and does not alter taste. It has a higher working pressure to help speed up loading and unloading times. The UHMWPE cover not only dramatically increases its abrasion resistance but is antimicrobial and offers increased dragability. The polyamide helix also makes this hose crush proof. Its higher working temperature allows for the sterilization of the hose with steam at 230°F for 30 minutes. Meets FDA title 21 art.177.2600(e) for liquid foods, BfR, ADI free, CE1935/2004.
